Before catching Golden 1 Credit Union Chief Marketing Officer Douglas Aguiar at his presentation during the Auto Finance Sales & Marketing Summit, get a glimpse at his thoughts outside the boardroom.
As the chief marketing officer at one of the largest credit unions in the nation — with an auto portfolio clocking in at $4.8 billion, according to Big Wheels Auto Finance data— Aguiar leads the marketing, product, communications and community relations teams. As such, he’s responsible for Golden 1’s comprehensive marketing program, which encompasses mass media, direct response and digital marketing, as well as NBA and athletics sports sponsorships.
Aguiar brings more than 30 years of marketing experience to the credit union, holding executive-level positions with Fortune 500 financial services companies, including JPMorgan Chase and Bank of America‘s Countrywide Home Loans.
