USAA’s Renee Horne returns to the Auto Finance Summit speaker faculty

Amanda Harris

Auto Finance News is pleased to announce that Renee Horne, USAA’s vice president of consumer lending experiences, is returning to the 2020 Auto Finance Summit as a speaker.

Horne joins the Executive Dialogue roundtable discussion scheduled for Oct. 20 to explore pressing industry challenges, including those spurred by the COVID-19 economic crisis and how top lenders in the nation are working to overcome them.

Horne, who boasts nearly eight years of consumer lending and marketing experience with USAA, is responsible for managing USAA’s portfolio strategy, planning and execution, and balancing profit and loss stewardship of $22 billion in assets. Prior to working at USAA, she served as a senior financial analyst and communications leader with FedEx.

USAA is the 19th-largest auto finance company in the nation, according to the Big Wheels Data ranking, with an auto finance portfolio of about $16.4 billion at the end of last year. The company originated more than $9 billion of auto loans in 2019.

Last year, Horne served as the keynote speaker at the Women in Auto Finance Luncheon at the Auto Finance Summit, where she spoke on the importance of female leadership in auto leasing and lending. She told women in the industry to strive for growth, have a voice and be authentic.

The 2020 Auto Finance Summit celebrates the return of the Women in Auto Finance Keynote address, further highlighting the importance of female leadership in the industry. Other sessions will offer insights on macroeconomic trends, getting consumers back into a buyer’s mindset and a fireside chat with Ally Financial’s President of Auto Finance Doug Timmerman. The full agenda is found here.
