GM Financial’s Paiva to talk digital innovation at AFS

Bruno Paiva is senior vice president of digital marketing for GM Financial

Amanda Harris

Bruno Paiva, senior vice president of digital marketing for GM Financial, will discuss the need for auto lenders to step up their digital innovation amid the pandemic at 2:45 p.m. ET on Oct. 20, during the Auto Finance Summit, which returns as a virtual event Oct. 20-22.

Auto lenders have for years been improving their digital initiatives, but as dealerships closed for multiple months during the COVID-19 pandemic, the need to offer online car buying services increased. Since consumers could no longer come to a dealership to buy and finance a car, industry leaders were forced to hasten the adoption of digital paperwork, remote services and online financing.

Paiva, a seasoned communications professional who has focused on creating digital experiences, will share the importance of digital solutions with workshop attendees. Before joining GM Financial, Paiva spent 11 years in marketing roles for Santander Consumer USA.

Following the presentation, Auto Finance Summit attendees will have the opportunity to participate in an interactive discussion with live polls in an open forum, and are encouraged to share their thoughts on the digital evolution and strategies lenders should adopt for success.
