Mike Furnari, chief business development officer of HyreCar, will give a presentation at the Auto Finance Summit on the impact of ridesharing and autonomous vehicles in the lending space.
The session will take place in the Innovation Track on the second day of the summit — Thursday, October 25 at 4 p.m. at The Wynn, Las Vegas.
Furnari will provide insights for the latest innovative trends in ridesharing programs, subscription services, and how auto finance professionals can leverage the sharing economy to enhance business growth.
Currently, Furnari oversees sales operations as the chief business development officer and has played an integral role in expanding the sales department and increasing gross merchandise sales on the platform. Furnari participated in Seed, Series A, and Bridge fundraising rounds and is also the primary point of contact with fleet operators, Uber and Lyft, and other strategic external relationships.
Prior to joining, Furnari was managing a small fleet of vehicles on the HyreCar platform before approaching the founders, in December 2015, to provide financing to the company. From July 2013 to April 2016, Mr. Furnari was a sales manager for the Hyatt Residence Group (HRG) Carmel Highlands, the highest volume property in the group’s portfolio.
