Westlake Flooring Services has grown by “leaps and bounds” since its November 2012 launch, having reached a milestone of 100,000 vehicles floored on June 15, said Pat Amato, vice president of the Westlake Financial Services subsidiary. The Los Angeles-based floorplan provider is on pace to finance an additional 50,000 units by yearend 2017, Amato told AFN Wednesday.
“In the next 12 months, I think our main goal is signing up Westlake Financial’s dealers and helping them grow,” Amato said. “If we can sign up another 1,000 dealers by the end of next year, that would be a great success for us.”
Westlake Flooring has grown “substantially” this year, to a division of more than 100 employees. Specifically, the company added about 40 employees to its account management, dealer management services, and sales teams in order to support the company’s expanding dealership network, Amato said. Westlake Flooring Services currently works with about 1,000 dealerships.
