Roadrunner Financial has been piloting Roadrunner Power, an incentive program for its dealer partners, Director of Marketing Casey Casterline told Powersports Finance.
Roadrunner Power, which started in December 2019, is offered to dealers who carry certain manufacturers or have done a certain amount of volume with Roadrunner — though the volume requirements for the program were not disclosed. Since the incentive program is still in the pilot stage, Roadrunner will update its offerings based on market feedback, Casterline added.
“One thing we’re really focused on this year is deepening relationships with dealers who do a lot of volume with us,” Casterline said. “[Roadrunner Power] is giving extra perks to those dealers to get better rates, they can sometimes get volume incentives and some other additional benefits. We see that as exciting because the more we strengthen their relationship, the more they’re going to be able to finance and help our customers.”
One benefit of Roadrunner Power is that it motivates dealerships to learn Roadrunner’s program. When Roadrunner launched in 2014, it only financed near-prime loans and has since added leasing for BRP and prime credit. The loyalty program gives dealers who may not be doing a lot of volume with the lender an opportunity to learn about Roadrunner’s full offerings.
“What we have is an opportunity to educate our dealer base, those that are already enrolled and those that are yet to be enrolled, on the full power of Roadrunner Financial and our credit offerings, whether that’s partnership and promotional or a standard rate program,” said Vice President of Sales, Powersports, and Outdoor Power Equipment Jon Vestal.
