Santander’s Virnitia Dixon headlines DEI Luncheon at AFS East

The Auto Finance News team is pleased to announce that Virnitia Dixon, chief diversity officer at Santander US, will lead the Diversity, Equity & Inclusion (DE&I) Luncheon as the keynote speaker as part of Auto Finance Summit East, taking place Thursday, May 11, at 12:00 p.m. CT at the JW Marriott Nashville. 

Virnitia Hendricks, Chief Diversity Officer, Santander US

The Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Luncheon is a chance to network with industry peers and learn best practices for advancing DE&I initiatives in the workplace.  

Hendricks provides strategic leadership for Santander’s advancement in its commitment to diversity, equity, inclusion and social innovation, according to her LinkedIn. Prior to joining Santander in January 2021, she served as a freelance principal consultant and executive coach with Quotidian Group, providing management consulting services in strategy, operations and business development. 

Hendricks has a background primarily in financial services, where she previously held roles including corporate vice president of strategy for New York Life and vice president of operations for Travelers Property Casualty

The Auto Finance Summit East event will bring together the auto lending and leasing industry with networking opportunities and educational content at the time of the year when market dynamics require industry participants to execute or pivot operational strategies. The Summit includes a tech demo challenge, roundtable discussions, and sessions spanning subprime financing, digital strategy and EV financing.
