Chase Auto names heads of product, pricing

Chase Auto made leadership changes in February to shore up pricing and product management. Steve Weger was named head of product at Chase Auto after serving for a year as managing director at JPMorgan Chase . [caption id="attachment_58359598" align="alignleft" width="133"] Steve Weger[/caption] Weger’s financial services experience spans more than 20 years, including 18 years as senior vice president and head of sales and originations at Capital One from 2017 to 2024, according to LinkedIn . He also was general manager of auto at Informed.IQ before joining JPMorgan Chase in 2025. Chase Auto also named Manish Chhabra managing director and head of pricing and credit, according to his LinkedIn post. Chhabra has more than 20 years’ experience in financial services, having held leadership roles at Capital One and Ally Financial prior to Chase. [caption id="attachment_58359597" align="alignright" width="155"] Manish Chhabra[/caption] At Chase, Chhabra will lead the financier’s pricing, credit strategy and decisioning functions and work across the business on risk, growth and portfolio performance initiatives, according to LinkedIn. The bank is also looking to fill several leadership roles across credit strategy, vehicle remarketing and private label captive finance at Chase Auto, according to LinkedIn. Chase Auto’s originations in the fourth quarter of 2025 increased 1.9% year over year to $10.8 billion, while loan and lease outstandings landed at $89.7 billion, up 5.1% YoY. Chase Auto was the fourth-largest auto lender by outstandings at yearend 2024, according to the latest Big Wheels Rankings data . Erkenbrack new VP at Hyundai Capital America Keri Erkenbrack was named Hyundai Capital America ’s vice president of consumer credit in February, according to LinkedIn. [caption id="attachment_58359594" align="alignleft" width="117"] Keri Erkenbrack[/caption] Erkenbrack has been with the captive for more than 16 years in leadership roles spanning consumer credit, project management, sales, OEM support and service planning. Most recently, she had served as executive director of consumer credit since July 2024. HCA’s total assets, including leases and commercial loans, totaled $82.4 billion in 2025, a company spokesperson previously told Auto Finance News . The captive was the eighth-largest auto lender by outstandings at yearend 2024, according to Big Wheels Rankings. Mehra named CIO at Santander US Santander US in February named Bobby Mehra chief information officer and executive vice president for auto, according to his LinkedIn. [caption id="attachment_58359595" align="alignright" width="137"] Bobby Mehra[/caption] Mehra has held technology and financial service roles for more than 20 years, including at Fiserv , Citi , Deutsche Bank and JPMorgan Chase, according to LinkedIn. He was also managing director and head of technology for the United States as well as CIO and chief technology officer for corporate and investment banking for Banco Santander , the parent company of Santander Holdings USA , from 2017 through July 2025. CPS adds 40-year veteran Carnahan to board Consumer Portfolio Services on Feb. 18 appointed Scott Carnahan to its board of directors to fill the spot left vacant after board member William Roberts resigned at the end of January 2025 , according to an SEC filing from the company. At KPMG, he led the structured finance practice and provided guidance for more than $2 trillion in transactions, according to the filing. Arra Finance names Minke AVP of asset performance [caption id="attachment_58359599" align="alignright" width="105"] Dawn Minke[/caption] Dawn Minke in February joined auto lender Arra Finance as assistant vice president of asset performance analytics after nearly five years with fintech Open Lending , according to LinkedIn. Arra in 2025 was in growth mode, having secured a $100 million warehouse line from Goldman Sachs and acquired New Orleans-based Crescent Bank’s auto business . Troitschanski leaves Axis Auto to start Carhive [caption id="attachment_58359600" align="alignleft" width="133"] Ilja Troitschanski[/caption] Ilja Troitschanski became founder and chief executive of Canadian retailer Carhive in January, according to LinkedIn. Carhive allows consumers to digitally shop for cars in Toronto and get pre-approved for financing online. Previously, he was founder and president of Toronto-based subprime lender Axis Auto Finance , which completed the sale of its auto loan assets in December 2024 .
