Joy Falotico is appointed chief operating officer for Ford Motor Credit Co. and a vice president for Ford Motor Co. effective Jan. 1, the parent company announced today.
In her new position Falotico, 48, is responsible for Ford Credit global operations in the Americas, Asia Pacific, Europe and Middle East and Africa. She also leads marketing, sales and brand, business center operations and insurance operations. She reports to Chairman and Chief Executive Bernard Silverstone.
In her prior role, Falotico was executive vice president, Ford Credit marketing, sales, Americas and strategic planning, with responsibility for marketing and sales globally, business operations in North and South America, and global strategic planning.
She joined Ford Credit in 1989. Falotico is also Vehicle Finance Division chair of the American Financial Services Association.
