With Ford targeting Millennials as the primary customers for the subcompact Fiesta, it’s no wonder the automaker has come out with a high-tech sales pitch for the vehicle — an iPad app.
Using the interactive brochure, prospective Fiesta customers can browse all the car’s features and dealer options, including tech information, safety features, and connectivity options. They can interact with the driver display, getting a glimpse of how the screen would change in the car.
The app describes the car’s SYNC system, which allows users to make hands-free calls and control music and other functions with voice commands. The system can even read text messages out loud.
“Fiesta target consumers are heavily digitally inclined and often lead the way with new technology adoption,” said Thomais Zaremba, Ford car marketing communications manager, in an announcement about the app.
Another screen on the app details the available “tattoos” and graphics available on the entire lineup of Fiesta vehicles, from ninja blades to flowers. Available exterior colors include “Yellow Blaze” and “Lime Squeeze.”
Pricing on the 2011 Fiesta starts at $13,320.
