DEMOvation Challenge returns to Auto Finance Innovation Summit

The virtual event is set for March 16 and 17

Amanda Harris

The popular DEMOvation challenge is returning to this year’s Auto Finance Innovation Summit, which will be held virtually March 16 – 17.

Five startups in financial services and mobility will go head-to-head and demo their new technologies live as they vie to win the Best in Show prize. Event attendees will have the opportunity to vote on their favorite demos, and the top two companies will advance to a judging round.

This year’s demo companies are: Carbeeza, which harnesses AI for consumer auto financing; Enteruptors, an AI-powered risk and regulation software solution; Flowcast, a machine learning fintech; MotoRefi, a refinance fintech; and Romulus, a document intelligence platform.

The DEMOvation judges are Georg Bauer, co-founder of NextCar; Robert McDonald, managing director and general manager of auto finance for Pagaya; and Scott Painter, founder and chief executive of NextCar. They will lead a discussion on what auto financiers should consider when evaluating new technology partnerships with startup companies. The three judges will then discuss the top two companies and name the winner.

The Auto Finance Innovation Summit will also feature a fireside chat with Bob Beatty, executive vice president and chief experience officer at GM Financial, a live executive dialogue, and sessions on compliance, digital initiatives and artificial intelligence.

In advance of the upcoming summit, the Auto Finance News editorial team would like to gauge the pace of digital adoption among auto lenders. We ask that you participate in this brief survey to tell us more about your company’s digital transformation. All responses will remain anonymous.

The results of the survey will be shared during the opening remarks of the virtual event, and in a post on AutoFinanceNews.net.
