Ally Financial Inc. released a new version of its Auto Mobile Pay app Sunday, with a new alert feature notifying customers of Fico score updates.
“Prior to this update, it was up to the customer to check their Fico score at will,” Tim Russi, president of Ally Auto Finance, told AFN. “Now they get automatic reminders when updates are made, which we feel is more helpful and convenient.”
As part of an effort to make account management and access to information as easy as possible, Fico score availability was added for Ally Auto customers in July 2015, in order to provide consumers with easier access to their important credit information, Russi said. Since the launch, about 1.5 million customers have viewed their Fico scores, he added.
Through the app, customers can also view payment information, make one-time payments, schedule payments, and cancel pending payments, among other features.
Russi will participate in a fireside chat at the upcoming Auto Finance Summit on Oct. 6, at the Bellagio Las Vegas. To register, visit www.AutoFinanceSummit.com.
