Executives from ThunderRoad Financial and Ironhorse Funding will discuss how to streamline operations to improve collections and recoveries at PowerSports Finance Summit 2024 taking place Oct. 9-10 at Wynn Las Vegas.

The session on streamlining operations will feature ThunderRoad’s President and Chief Executive Donal Hummer and Ironhorse’s CEO Jon Krumdick, as the two discuss:
- Changes to lenders’ recovery strategies amid higher losses and rising costs;
- Connecting repossession processes to the transport and auction side of the house; and
- Regulatory considerations with servicing, collections and repossessions.
Hummer and Krumdick will take the stage on the last day of the summit, at 3 p.m. . Oct. 10.
Meet the panelists
Hummer launched ThunderRoad in 2014, marking his “third powersports finance venture,” according to the financier’s website, which says ThunderRoad works to provide powersports dealers with “competitive financing, ancillary products, along with exemplary service and experienced, knowledgeable staff.”
Hummer was elected chairman of the Powersports Finance Board of Advisors in 2017, according to the website.
Krumdick joined Ironhorse in June 2019 as director of development and origination, according to his LinkedIn profile.
In this role, Krumdick worked “to support the company’s growth with the expansion of its indirect lending program as well as the launch of its direct-to-consumer motorcycle refinance program,” according to Ironhorse’s website.
He was promoted to chief operating officer in October 2019, according to LinkedIn, and served in that role until his promotion to chief executive in October 2021.
Previously, he worked for MotoRefi, a direct-to-consumer auto refinance platform, as vice president of lender development and operations.
