Lending and dealer execs to discuss dealer relations at AFS East 2024

A diverse group of auto finance executives will take the stage to discuss strategies to enhance dealer relations in a tightened lending environment at Auto Finance Summit East 2024, taking place May 1-3 in Nashville, Tenn.  

During a panel at 10:45 a.m. CST on Friday, May 3, the execs will discuss:  

  • The return of leasing and incentives as inventory recovers; 
  • Strategies to drive sales and originations amid tighter credit requirements; and  
  • Navigating regulatory oversight of dealer documentation and ancillary product practices.

Our panelists 

Reggie Branch, senior director of indirect lending at Arvest Bank, has more than 30 years of experience in the auto finance industry. Before joining the bank in October 2022, he served as an operations manager at Ford Motor Credit Co., according to LinkedIn. Branch has held leadership positions at United Auto Credit Corp., Wells Fargo Dealer Services, Exeter Finance, BBVA and PNC. 

Shirley Jones, chief financial officer at Car Pros Auto Group, has had a long career in the dealership business. She joined Car Pros as an office manager in 2005 and was named CFO in 2018. Prior to that, she served at Don Kott Automotive and was a controller at Sonic Automotive. Car Pros has annual sales of more than $1 billion. 

Jonathan Lum, chief operating officer at Credit Acceptance Corp., joined the lender in 2002 as a senior financial analyst following two years as a certified public accountant at Willis and Jurasek, PC, according to LinkedIn. Lum climbed the company ladder at CAC and was named COO in 2019. His prior positions include senior vice president with the dealer service center, vice president of internal audit and compliance, and director of policy compliance. 

Scot Seagrave, chief executive at FinBe USA, formerly Credito Real USA Finance, has more than 20 years of experience in the auto industry. Seagrave’s prior positions include senior vice president at subprime retailer Driverselect, senior vice president at Prestige Financial Services and president at AFS Acceptance. He joined Credito Real USA as CEO in 2017. He facilitated the sale of the company to Mexican business group Bepensa, which rebranded the lender to FinBe USA in November 2023.
