AutoNation Finance President Jeffrey Butler joins Auto Finance Summit 2025

Butler has more than 25 years of consumer lending experience. He served as president of CIG Financial in 2017 before it was acquired by AutoNation in 2022 and previously held a position at AmeriCredit.

During the panel, “Strategic partnerships: new opportunities for alliances and collaboration,” scheduled for 2:15 p.m. local time on Thursday, Oct. 16, Butler and other panelists will discuss:

  • The state of lender-dealer collaboration;
  • A practical guide to partnerships with dealer groups; and
  • The role of technology in strengthening lender-dealer partnerships.

AutoNation Finance was the 69th-largest auto lender by outstandings in yearend 2024, with a $932 million portfolio, according to Big Wheels.

Auto Finance Summit 2025 provides attendees with a blend of intimate networking opportunities, unique workshops and a chance to hear from industry leaders on topics such as compliance, fraud management, subprime financing and economic headwinds facing the industry.
