JM Family Enterprises has announced a series of senior-level executive changes over the course of two months.
Among the appointments include Stephan Artusi, who was promoted to group vice president and general counsel at the company at the end of July. In Artusi’s new position, he will oversee all of the company’s legal departments.
Taking over Artusi’s duties is Andre Hall, who was promoted to assistant vice president and general counsel for World Omni Financial Corp. — a subsidiary of Deerfield Beach, Fla.-based JM Family Enterprises, according to a published report. Hall will assume the responsibilities within the organization that Artusi held before his new role. Hall was previously assistant vice president and deputy general counsel.
Back in June, JM Family announced that Chief Executive Colin Brown would serve as chairman of the company’s board. Additionally, Brent Burns was promoted to president and chief operating officer of JM Family Enterprises to continue the company’s “succession planning,” according to a company press release.
Burns has served as the company’s COO since 2014, as well as a board member since 2012. Burns will continue to oversee JM Family’s three operating business units — Southeast Toyota Distributors, World Omni Financial Corp., and JM&A Group. He will lead the organization’s information technology strategic planning, according to the release.
Separately, World Omni Financial Corp. has been dedicated to bolstering its technology developments in recent years. Back in May, Alfredo Cateriano — World Omni’s vice president of risk management, data, and analytics — said the company will partner with universities in Florida as part of its overall focus on data integration and utilizing analytics.
