Transformation strategy leaders to discuss new ownership models at AFS 2023

Auto finance industry strategy leaders will discuss how to navigate novel ownership models with flexibility on Monday, Oct. 30, at 2:15 p.m. during Auto Finance Summit 2023.  

The 23rd annual Auto Finance Summit takes place Oct. 29-31 at the Bellagio in Las Vegas. Amid affordability challenges, alternative financing methods, such as subscriptions and pay-per-mile leases, are taking hold in the auto finance industry. Leaders from Alfa, Autonomy, Autotech Ventures and Turo will discuss how to remain flexible and innovative to adapt to new ownership models while keeping dealers in the fold.  

The panelists: 

Burak Cendek, partner at Autotech Ventures, has expertise in growth strategies, financial and business modeling and fundraising. He previously was a junior partner at Revo Capital, where he invested in software-as-a-service businesses in Europe.  

Alex Cooper, client account director at Alfa, joined the company in 2006 and has worked on various projects related to European systems replacement and business transformation as a business analyst, functional lead and project manager. Cooper moved to California in 2013 to oversee Alfa’s growth in the U.S. automotive industry.  

Martin Prescher, CPO and CTO at Autonomy, has more than 15 years’ experience building and launching new products and services. At Autonomy, he built the team and technology that supports the company’s digital end-to-end auto subscription and insurance platform and has helped acquire more than $55 million in venture funding.  

Gerry Quinn, senior director of business development and strategic partnerships at Turo, has more than three decades of experience in the automotive industry, building financial service businesses and developing programs for OEMs, captives, banks and dealership groups. Quinn has held leadership positions at Ford Credit, Stellantis and Flagship
