New-vehicle sales continue to claw back toward pre-pandemic levels.
Total new-vehicle sales are estimated to reach 1.24 million units in November, a 0.5% year-over-year decline when adjusted for the same number of selling days, according to a TrueCar ALG forecast released today. The November seasonally adjusted annualized rate is estimated at 16.3 million units, a decrease of 4% from last year’s 16.9 million units.
New retail sales inched up 2.9% YoY, and 8.4% from last month when adjusted for the same number of selling days.
Average transaction prices are also projected to increase 4.7% YoY, or $1,707, to $38,024.
