Auto Finance News is excited to announce that Michael Vogan, lead auto economist at Moody’s Analytics, will participate in the “Auto Finance Economics & Climbing Yields” presentation at the upcoming Auto Finance Performance & Compliance Summit.
The conference will take place May 9-10, at the Omni Dallas.
In this presentation, Vogan will make predictions for the U.S. economy and its future. He will also discuss consumer demand and spending in a shifting landscape, and make sense of the current monetary policy.

He also creates economic thought leadership in the automotive space by communicating through monthly reports, presentations, webinars, and research papers. Vogan is responsible for collaborating on expanding software and data offerings in the automotive industry, managing client relationships, and overseeing model development and production deployment of forecasting models.
Vogan has worked as the lead auto economist at Moody’s since April of last year. He first joined the company in 2015 as an economist, building credit risk models for auto loans and leases, among other responsibilities. Prior to joining Moody’s, Vogan was a research analyst for the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia.
Other sessions on the agenda include a fireside chat with Hyundai Capital’s Marcelo Brutti; Portfolio Management to Strengthen Underwriting; Practical Guidance for Developing a Compliance Program; and Practical Strategies for Fighting Fraud.
