JM Family Enterprises Inc. has promoted Brent Burns to chief operating officer, Jorge Gonzalez to chief financial officer, and Kim Magner to vice president of corporate taxes. In his new role, Burns will oversee JM Family’s primary operating business units: Southeast Toyota Distributors, World Omni Financial Corp., and JM&A Group. Burns has served in various roles since joining JM Family in 2000, most recently as CFO and executive vice president. Gonzalez, who joined the company in 2004, will step into the CFO role, and will oversee financial operations. Magner will assume the position previously held by Gonzalez. She joined the company in 1996 as a senior tax accountant and has held several management positions.
