Citizens: Service and Relationships Matter Most

handsIn today’s “intense” auto finance market, a solid sales force can help a company stand out from the competition, Citizens Financial Group auto unit President Brandon Coughlin told AFN.

Experience always helps, especially when expanding into new territory, “but at the end of the day, it really comes down to our main strategy,” he said. “Does that salesperson have that long-term view of a relationship so they can sustain our business through the inevitable cycles that will occur over the next few years?” The bottom line, according to Coughlin: “Customer service is what wins at the end of the day.”
