Chase Auto private label president joins fireside chat at Auto Finance Summit East

Auto Finance News is pleased to welcome Leslie Wims Morris, president of private label captive finance at Chase Auto, to discuss strategy execution, technology advancements and market expectations during a fireside chat at Auto Finance Summit East 2024, taking place at the Grand Hyatt Nashville Hotel in Nashville May 1-3, 2024.

Morris will take the stage at 9:15 a.m. on May 3 to discuss growth strategies and opportunities within a challenging environment marked by elevated interest rates and changing competition. She joined JPMorgan Chase in 2018 as head of strategic business development for payments and banking and transitioned to auto in November 2022.  

Morris held strategic leadership roles at American Express and Broadridge Financial Solutions prior to joining Chase. Her experience spans technology, mergers and acquisitions, banking, and business development. For more than 25 years, Morris has helped build strategic partnerships for Fortune 100 companies in the consumer retail, telecommunications, and technology industries, according to LinkedIn. 

Morris set her sights on growth and supporting manufacturers with “customized lending solutions” when she took on her current role within the bank’s auto business, she previously told AFN 

Chase Auto’s originations jumped 32% year over year to $9.9 billion in the fourth quarter of 2023, with average auto loan and lease outstandings up 8.6% YoY to $86.8 billion, according to the bank’s earnings supplement.
