Powersports Finance Summit 2025 is Sept. 23-24 at the Sonesta Columbus Downtown

Powersports Finance News is pleased to announce that ThunderRoad Financial Chief Executive Donal Hummer and Chief Operating Officer Kristi Mercier will join discussions on lender-dealer needs and vehicle sales trends at Powersports Finance Summit 2025, taking place Sept. 23-24 at the Sonesta in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Donal Hummer

Hummer launched powersports lender ThunderRoad Financial in 2014 and has served as president and CEO since then. Before launching ThunderRoad, he worked as general counsel for Harley-Davidson Financial Services and led FreedomRoad Financial, a powersports division of Evergreen Community Bank.

Hummer will join Sam Calautti, Yamaha Motor Finance’s director of retail finance operations, on Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 11 a.m. ET for “An Update on Vehicle Sales Trends as Competition Heats Up” panel. It will touch on new products and growth opportunities in powersports.

Kristi Mercier

Mercier became ThunderRoad Financial’s COO in January 2019. She’s spent over a decade at ThunderRoad, previously serving as manager of operations and director of operations. She also worked at Harley-Davidson Financial Services for more than seven years as a credit analyst.

Mercier will join other panelists on Wednesday, Sept. 24 at 9:45 a.m., for the “Driving Smarter Credit Decisions in Powersports: Balancing Lender and Dealer Needs” panel. It will cover balancing portfolio growth while understanding collateral risk.
