Hyundai Capital Services (HCS), the captive finance company that operates mainly in China and Korea, launched a snappy commercial campaign earlier this year to promote personal auto leases, using a familiar face for American TV viewers, talk show maven Larry King.
The commercials ran only in Korea, but HCS representatives showcased a few during the American Financial Services Association Credit Summit for Fixed Income Investors on Wednesday.

Meanwhile, Hyundai Capital America (HCA) is preparing a securities transaction worth $747.8 million backed by auto leases, according to a presale report from Standard and Poor’s. The transaction is HCA’s second lease securitization this year, and the captive’s eighth lease transaction overall.
