Litwin is a partner and co-head of the Structured Finance practice at Mayer Brown, where he co-leads the law firm’s capital markets practice. His clients include warehouse lenders, investment banks, originators, hedge funds, commercial banks and aggregators in structuring, negotiating and documenting transactions in the United States. He has been with the firm for more than 40 years.

He will join the panel “Trust but verify: Trustees and title verification after Tricolor” on May 12 at 11:30 a.m. local time alongside Lou Giebel, executive vice president at Vervent, the backup servicer for Tricolor.

The session will touch on:

  • The scourge of double-counting assets;
  • Compliance guidelines;
  • Best practices for better risk management in warehouse funding; and
  • Methods for avoiding credit failures.

Auto Finance Capital Summit will provide an in-depth look at trends across funding, securitization and investment in the industry. Through networking opportunities, presentations and panel discussions, attendees will tap into key information to form strategies around capital stress testing, fraud mitigation and risk-based pricing.
