Harley-Davidson details 2020 CVO Road Glide

Matthew Wood

Harley-Davidson has revealed new features for its 2020 CVO Road Glide motorcycle. The bike is a mid-year addition to the 2020 portfolio of limited-production, super-premium motorcycles from the Harley-Davidson Custom Vehicle Operations program.

The base price for the CVO Road Glide begins at $40,999 and comes with features that include H-D Connect, Reflex Defensive Rider Systems and a low-profile, two-piece fuel tank console with lighted CVO logo.

H-D Connect introduces subscription-based cellular connectivity to some motorcycles to keep riders connected to them through a smartphone using the Harley-Davidson App. The Reflex Defensive Rider System is designed to match motorcycle performance to available traction during acceleration, deceleration and braking, utilizing new chassis control, electronic brake control and powertrain technology.

Additionally, the CVO Road Glide comes with a Boom! Audio 30K Bluetooth helmet headset, designed for cordless interface with the Boom! Box GTS infotainment system. The headset can connect with up to 16 riders in private mode for up to 5 miles and enables the same functions as a wired headset, including a phone, navigation prompts, radio and audio.

The CVO Road Glide also features the Milwaukee-Eight 117 engine, the largest-displacement, factory-installed engine available from Harley-Davidson, with 125 foot-pounds of torque.
