Panelists to discuss specialty lending at PowerSports Finance Summit 2024

The Auto Finance News team is pleased to announce that leaders from Octane LendingSource One Financial Services and TDECU will join PowerSports Finance Summit 2024 for a panel discussion on specialty lending, which includes a deeper look at marine and RV product financing and sales trends.

The session on specialty lending will kick off at 3:45 p.m. on the final day of the summit and feature Jud Chamblee, director of wholesale business development at TDECU; Mark Davidson, co-founder and chief revenue officer at Octane Lending; and Michael Opdahl, president and chief executive at Source One Financial Services.  

They will discuss: 

  • How RV and marine promotions and sales differ from the wider powersports market; 
  • Adjusting underwriting to account for RV and marine-specific portfolio risks; and 
  • Growth of the RV and marine market as large lenders become active in the space. 

Meet the panelists 

Chamblee, Davidson and Opdahl have decades of experience with sales, marketing and finance in the automotive and powersports industries. 

Chamblee joined TDECU in 2009 as director of indirect business services and has more than 38 years of experience in the automotive industry.. He previously served as Houston-Lake Jackson market manager and director of wholesale business development for TDECU.. Chamblee’s career experiences include time spent with PRIMUS-Ford CreditWestCorp Financial Services and GMAC

Davidson co-founded Octane Lending in 2014 and serves as chief revenue officer.. He is credited with contributing to the company’s more than $4 billion in originations, 35 OEM partners and 4,000 dealerships, according to his company biography.. Davidson is also the co-founder of multiple startups, including oDigger and CaptureSEO

Opdahl was appointed president and chief executive of Source One in 2023, according to his LinkedIn profile.. He has more than 25 years of consumer finance experience.
