AutoGravity Creates Branded App For Fletcher Jones Auto

William Hoffman

AutoGravity Android The digital auto financing company AutoGravity has announced a new branded app that directly links Fletcher Jones Auto Group and its Mercedes-Benz dealerships to its dedicated customer base that spans four states and 17 dealers, the companies announced in a joint press release.

The app is called FJ Drive and it works exactly the same as AutoGravity’s flagship app, but is able to more directly link the consumer to Fletcher Jones’ branding and services. The partnership is part of the company’s efforts to partner with select OEM, lenders, and dealership brands to bring the AutoGravity platform to different consumers, the company said in the release.

“FJ Drive powered by AutoGravity is a new platform that delivers an unparalleled mobile car shopping and financing experience right to the smartphones of the rapidly growing segment of tech-loving millennials,” said Andy Hinrichs, founder and CEO of AutoGravity, in the release. “The innovation-driven team at Fletcher Jones is embracing AutoGravity technology to set another benchmark in the increasingly digital world of automotive sales and finance.”

The app allows consumers to browse for vehicles available at Fletcher Jones dealerships, — which includes the No. 1 Mercedes-Benz retailer in the nation — choose from up to four financing options, sign for the vehicle on the app, and go into the showroom to pick up the vehicle.

The auto group sells Mercedes-Benz vehicles as well as Porsche, Honda, Audi, Volkswagen and Ford brands according to its website, but AutoGravity’s partnership with Mercedes-Benz Financial Services drove a lot of the collaboration.

Consumers can pick from a number of participating lenders when signing a loan on any brand of vehicle, however all Mercedes-Benz leases must be done through the captive, AutoGravity confirmed to AFN. MBFS was the first partner to offer leasing through AutoGravity in August, and later added support for loans in October.

“Our whole industry is going digital,” said Keith May, president of Fletcher Jones, in the release. “By launching FJ Drive powered by AutoGravity, we’ve cemented our standing on the forefront of innovation and positioned Fletcher Jones to pull ahead and win with an unmatched digital car shopping and financing experience.”
