In a new partnership, Roadloans.com is now the preferred lender for Vehix, the online car shopping site that connects shoppers with auto dealers and advertisers.
Roadloans.com, owned by Santander Consumer USA, is an online auto lender specializing in financing, refinancing and servicing new and used auto loans for customers seeking a direct lending experience.
When shoppers visit Vehix.com, they will now see the RoadLoans.com option when they search for vehicles and indicate they need financing. By clicking on the RoadLoans.com advertisement, customers are redirected to the auto lender’s secure online application and could receive loan decisions in less than a minute; shoppers can even choose their APRs, loan terms, and down payment amounts on the application. Vehix is also teamed up with Jumpstart Automotive Group for its marketing needs, and Santander Consumer USA is pleased with the partnership.
“RoadLoans has helped tens of thousands of people receive auto financing before they ever set foot in a dealership,” said Will Stacy, vice president of marketing for Santander Consumer USA Inc. “Jumpstart’s unique approach to developing industry leading marketing programs coupled with Vehix’s tremendous web presence and network of dealer relationships allows us to help more customers purchase a car that meets their needs.”
Let’s take a look at some other sites that have similar relationships and for those that don’t, perhaps a preferred lender is the way to go; lessening the options for the consumer and making the loan process easier and complete before taking the ride to a dealership.
- Cars.com uses Auto Credit Express to assist its customers with auto loan applications
- Carmax.com features Carmax Auto Finance as well as advertises for Capital One Auto Finance, Santander Consumer USA, Wells Fargo, Ally, Nissan Motor Acceptance Corp., and Toyota Financial Services
Both carsdirect.com and autotrader.com use similar approaches with an auto loan facilitator of sorts. AutoTrader uses LendingTree.com which sets customers up with a choice of multiple lenders . Carsdirect offers a “vehicle specialist” to compare auto loans from lenders like Chase Auto, Bank of America, and Wells Fargo.
So will this be the only partnership RoadLoans.com establishes in the world of online car-buying? Or could this be the beginning of RoadLoans’ “preferred” status?
