Ted Brown left Citizens Bank on Aug. 29 for consultancy Praxis Advisors LLC, based in Altanta. Praxis is a new consultancy formed by Walter Cunningham, who previously headed Benchmark Consulting International.
Brown was most recently senior vice president and director of product and risk for Citizens Automobile and Recreational Finance. His primary responsibilities included dealer management, pricing, credit risk, and systems. Prior to joining Warwick, R.I.-based Citizens, he worked with BenchMark Consulting as auto finance practice manager. In his 20 years in the auto industry, he has held several position within General Electric Credit and Textron Financial, as well as executive positions with several indirect lenders where he oversaw originations, servicing, and remarketing.
Brown will serve as a Day Chairman at the upcoming Auto Finance Summit (www.autofinancesummit.com).
