Porsche Cars North America Inc. has again selected Experian Automotive to provide vehicle history reports for its certified pre-owned program.
Car buyers at Porsche dealerships will have access to used-cars’ AutoCheck vehicle history reports, which provide information about titles, previous damage, ownership, and service records, among other things.
Porsche has also re-signed with Experian for its three-year buyback protection, which safeguards buyers of certified vehicles against certain titling issues.
Mazda USA, for one, also uses Experian’s AutoCheck reports and buyback program on its CPO vehicles.
Porsche had 708 CPO sales last month, which was an 8% rise compared to October 2011. So far this year, the automaker has sold 8,078 CPO models, an 11% increase versus the same period last year.
