Auto lender Nicholas Financial has named Kevin D. Bates as the company’s new senior vice president-branch operations and Katie L. MacGillvary, vice president-finance, chief financial officer and corporate secretary of the company. The new titles were effective June 1. y joined Nicholas in 2010. Previously, she was controller at insurance and risk management provider Harden & Associates. Nicholas recently announced its acquisition by New York based Prospect Capital had been delayed past its June 12, 2014 date. That’s because Prospect is in the middle of a dispute with the SEC. In SEC documents filed May 23, Nicholas said it anticipates mailing a proxy statement and other materials to shareholders on or around June 30.
