Insurer Offers Cash Back Incentive for Chrysler, Hyundai Purchases

Nicole Casperson

Amica Mutual Insurance is offering a new incentive for purchasing or leasing new Chrysler and Hyundai Motor vehicles, Auto Finance News has learned.

The Rhode Island-based insurance company’s incentive is called BonusDrive, which allows customers to get a cash back bonus of up to $500. However, the offer only applies to the purchase or lease of specific vehicles, and the amount of the bonus depends on the brand a customer chooses.

Chrysler brand vehicles, including Dodge, Jeep, Ram and Fiat, are eligible for $250 cash back. All qualified Hyundai purchases are eligible for $500 cash back except for any vehicle purchased under the “Hyundai Circle” — a program where Hyundai offers special pricing for employees, family members and affiliates — in which the total award is limited to $100.

Any vehicle previously sold, registered or titled is not eligible. Also, Jeep Gladiator and Pacifica Hybrid are excluded from the BonusDrive offer, Amica noted on its website.

Other requirements include a 60-day deadline for application submissions after purchasing, all documentation required for approval must be submitted to BonusDrive within 14 days of application date and eligible vehicles must have 1,000 miles or less at the time of purchase.
