Chase Auto Finance closed 2012 with an 11% increase in auto originations, rising to $23.4 billion, from $21 billion the previous year.
During 4Q12, the lender generated $5.5 billion in auto loans, a 12% increase from the same quarter in 2011. In 3Q12, however, Chase originated $6.3 billion, so it ended up closing 2012 out with a 13% quarter-over-quarter decrease.
