BMW Group Financial Services yesterday announced changes to its U.S. executive team that will take effect June 1.
Shaun Bugbee will move to Germany to become the head of new markets for Europe, and Fred Isele will assume his role of vice president, sales and marketing for BMWFS, which supports BMW, Mini, Rolls-Royce, and BMW motorcycles. Isele joined BMWFS in 2001 after 11 years at BMW North America. He became president of Alphera Financial Services, which finances other franchises owned by BMW and Mini dealers, in 2008.
Steve Swecker has been promoted to president of Alphera from general manager, sales analytics for BMWFS. He’s held various regional management roles in Chicago, Ohio, and Germany since joining the company in 1995.
Michael van Bemmel will take over Swecker’s former post July 1, reporting directly to Isele. He joined BMWFS in 1994, and was most recently marketing manager. He will continue to head up the marketing department in his new position.
BMW Group Financial Services is headquartered in Woodcliff Lake, N.J., and has more than $34 billion in serviced assets.
