Hidalgo has more than 30 years of experience in consumer auto finance collections and servicing and has been with Irving, Texas-based SameDay since 2022. Prior to that, he was director of servicing for Clearwater, Fla.-based subprime auto lender Platinum Auto Finance for more than seven years.
Alongside executives from Arivo Acceptance and PenFed Credit Union, Hidalgo will dive into how to use machine learning, chatbots and self-service tools to enhance customer experiences and improve delinquency performance and collections. The session “Improving collections and servicing through AI and automation” kicks off at 3 p.m. local time on Oct. 16.
