Prestige Financial Services will debut upgrades to its website, which will feature educational videos, and roll out a new version of its mobile app, in 60 to 90 days, Chief of Operations Rich Hyde said.
The upgrades come on the heels of a “strong” response to text-message-based collections activity, he added. The current app — developed by Western Union — only handles payments. “We’ve focused on expanding our digital footprint to make things easier and more convenient for our customers,” Hyde said.
After seeing 90% of borrowers opt in to digital communication, the proprietary app will link to the website, Hyde explained. “Today our website is designed for a full-size computer — not smartphone or iPad — and the new app will allow customers to seek out their balance, sign up for reward programs, and as we move forward, payments, too,” Hyde said.
