David Williams, former director of sales and operations for Porsche Financial Services Canada, was appointed president and CEO of the company’s national financial arm, which services 17 Porsche centers across the country.
“I’m honoured to be able to lead Porsche Financial Services Canada in an expanded capacity and excited for what the future has in store,” Williams said. “We have made impressive strides over the last two years and will continue to build on the momentum.”
Williams joined PFSC in 2014 and quickly stood out as a leader for growth, the company said in a press release. A native of Toronto, Williams has already improved relationships with the company’s national centers, increased lease and finance penetration, and contributed to the enhancement of satisfaction scores. PFSC clearly thinks he can accomplish more as president.
“Announcing David as President & CEO of Porsche Financial Services Canada was a logical decision as he has proven to be a leader with the PFSC results garnered in a short period of time,” said Alexander Pollich, president and CEO, Porsche Cars Canada, Ltd. “As we continue to expand our business within Canada we are confident David, along with his team, will continue to elevate PFSC to new levels.”
Before joining the Porsche team, Williams began at Ford Motor Credit Co. LLC and later joined Nissan Canada Finance and Infiniti Financial Services Canada. He brings 20 years of experience in both captive finance and OEM sectors to his new position.
