Carfax has renewed a 10-year agreement to provide vehicle-history reports for Honda and Acura certified pre-owned vehicles. The alliance has been a major element in Honda and Acura CPO programs the past decade, said Brian Butts, manager of auto remarketing at American Honda Motor Co., in a published report yesterday.
“We’ve continued to build two highly successful certified pre-owned vehicle programs over the last decade with the help of Carfax,” Butts said. In addition to Carfax reports, Honda certified pre-owned cars must be 6-years-old or newer with less than 80,000 miles. In 2013, Honda and Acura dealers combined to sell 287,00
