Kenneth Abbe, enforcement attorney in the Federal Trade Commission‘s Western region, has joined the speaker faculty at the Auto Finance Risk Summit to share strategies for lenders to improve regulatory risk management.

Abbe will take the stage on May 15 at 4:30 p.m. PT for a panel discussion entitled “Regulators’ Roundtable,” which will offer alerts on new rules and guidance, like amendments proposed earlier this month to a rule governing consumer data protection. The panel will also provide an update on subprime and discrimination compliance and tips for lender best-practices.

In addition to insights from the FTC, the 12th annual Auto Finance Risk Summit will analyze and discuss a myriad of risk topics and management strategies. Participants will walk away with new information on improving risk management through digital transformation; how close the auto economy is to a downturn; how to reduce the cost of funds to improve yield; social media risk management; and more.

As the concluding event of Auto Finance Accelerate, the Auto Finance Risk Summit commences May 15-16 at the Omni San Diego immediately following the Auto Finance Innovation Summit. Check out the full agenda here.
