Risk and compliance executives from Exeter Finance Corp., First Investors Financial Services Inc., and Hyundai Capital America are the latest to join more than a dozen other professionals on the speaker faculty of the Auto Finance Risk Summit and sister event Auto Finance Compliance Summit. Both conferences will take place May 5-6 at the Island Hotel, in Newport Beach, Calif.
The Auto Finance Compliance Summit ― a new event sponsored by Auto Finance News and parent Royal Media Group ― will offer industry professionals the first dedicated full-length forum for sharing insights, best practices, and practical intelligence on regulatory compliance matters of import to lending companies and compliance practitioners alike.
As part of the AFCS agenda, Carol Moore, vice president and executive general counsel at HCA, will participate in a discussion about organizational restructuring with an eye on compliance. Panelists will analyze how a compliance-driven reorganization can be beneficial, and offer examples of restructuring that fosters stronger decision-making.
Other Compliance Summit speakers include:
• Mark Edelman, a partner at McGlinchey Stafford
• John Redding, a partner at Buckley Sandler LLP
• Ken Rojc, a partner at Nisen & Elliott LLC
• Michael Thurman, a partner at Loeb & Loeb LLP
Meanwhile, Kenneth Wardle and Tom Redding, executives at Exeter and First Investors, respectively, will participate in a pair of risk-related sessions. Wardle and his co-panelists will offer best practices for portfolio analysis, while Redding and his colleagues will provide strategies for exacting greater efficiencies without compromising risk.
The Auto Finance Risk Summit highlights the central role risk management plays in all functions of auto lending and leasing.
Registration to either event includes access to sessions for both the Auto Finance Risk Summit and the Auto Finance Compliance Summit, as well as the exhibit hall.
