Source One’s Opdahl to join Powersports Finance Summit

Powersports Finance Summit 2026 takes place Sept. 16-17 in Atlanta

Powersports Finance News is pleased to announce that Michael Opdahl, president and chief executive of Source One Financial Services, will join a marine financing discussion at the Powersports Finance Summit 2026, which will take place Sept. 16-17 in Atlanta at the Renaissance Atlanta Midtown Hotel. 

Opdahl will participate in the “Getting wet: Exploring portfolio expansion in marine” panel, from 1:45 p.m. to 2:30 p.m. local time on Sept. 17.

The panel will compare buyer trends, rate sensitivity, loan terms and seasonal patterns shaping marine originations

Panelists also will evaluate rates and underwriting as the marine market recovers and discuss how F&I operations, floorplan strategies, financing tools and industry partnerships can support growth. 

The panel will also feature: 

  • Russell Baqir, senior vice president of business development at Northpoint Commercial Finance; and 
  • Sean Gatesy, brand director for the Americas at Jeanneau Motor Yachts

Opdahl joined Source One in 2023. He oversees the company’s strategic direction and day-to-day operations. 

Opdahl has 25 years of consumer finance experience, including executive operations and sales roles at Tranex Credit Corp., Westlake Financial Services, G.E. Credit AFS and Automotive Credit Corp. 

His asset-based finance career has focused on using advanced analytics, technology and customer relationships to deliver financing products to dealerships and their customers.
