Powersports Finance News is pleased to announce that Chris Kukla, a compliance attorney with extensive experience in consumer and auto finance, will join a session on regulatory compliance at Powersports Finance Summit 2025, returning Sept. 23-24 at Sonesta Columbus Downtown.

Kukla has extensive experience in legislative and regulatory compliance, including in auto finance and consumer lending. He has been a legislative aide and counsel in the U.S. House of Representatives and held executive roles at the Center for Responsible Lending/Self-Help Credit Union. He has also been a consultant for the industry and authored or co-authored several reports on consumer finance issues.
Alongside panelists from law firms Husch Blackwell, McGlinchey Stafford and Troutman Pepper Locke, Kukla will dive into the implications of a shifting compliance landscape, an uptick in state-level regulation and key compliance considerations for powersports lenders and dealers. The panel is scheduled for Wednesday, Sept. 24, at 1:30 p.m.
