Credit Acceptance Corp.’s originations declined in the fourth quarter as the company eyes growth with franchise and large independent dealers alongside AI investments.  Southfield, Mich.-based CAC’s consumer loan assignment volume fell 9.1% year over year to 71,731 units with the number of active dealers down 2.8% YoY to 9,863, according to the lender’s Jan. 29 earnings release. On a dollar basis, volume was down 11.3% YoY.   […]
