Auto Finance News is pleased to announce that Michele Rodgers, chief information officer at Exeter Finance, will give the keynote address at the Women in Auto Finance Luncheon on Wednesday, Oct. 27, at 12:15 p.m. PST at the Wynn Las Vegas.
Rodgers has served as CIO since January 2018 at Dallas-based Exeter Finance, where she leads the strategy, development and implementation of new technology solutions. She is also responsible for the lender’s technology infrastructure, security and data management.
Prior to joining Exeter, Rodgers held several leadership positions at Santander Consumer USA, where she worked for 11 years. She also served as chief financial officer at IT consulting company SoftLink Solutions.
Exeter Finance had a managed portfolio of $7.4 billion as of June 30, according to an S&P Global Ratings presale report of its $1.3 billion securitization, the lender’s third of the year.
The Women in Auto Finance Luncheon — part of the annual Auto Finance Summit — is an exclusive networking opportunity designed to cultivate and promote female leadership in the industry and create a community for women to discuss and recognize the strength, leadership and dignity of female executives impacting the auto finance industry.
Rodgers is the latest trailblazer to share her experiences navigating the male-dominated auto finance industry at the fourth-annual luncheon, following Tanya Sanders, head of Wells Fargo Auto; Renee Horne, formerly of USAA and now chief marketing and customer experience officer of Chase Auto; and Renee Franck, national credit manager at Truist Bank.
Participation in the luncheon is included in the registration for all delegates; attendees must sign up during the registration process. The Women in Auto Finance Luncheon will be in an open-air room with outdoor seating available.
