Octane’s Steve Daum joins Powersports Finance Summit 2025

Summit takes place Sept. 23 to 24 in Columbus, Ohio

Powersports Finance News is pleased to announce Steve Daum, senior vice president of sales and recreational lending at Octane, will join a discussion on rethinking digital strategies for dealers and lenders at Powersports Finance Summit 2025, taking place Sept. 23-24 at the Sonesta in downtown Columbus, Ohio.

Daum, who has been in his role since July, joined Octane in 2022 as vice president of sales for powersports; he previously also served as vice president of partnerships. He has more than 20 years of experience in the finance industry, including at Sheffield Financial, U.S. Bank, TCF Inventory Finance and Textron Financial.

Octane surpassed $2 billion in forward-flow deals over the past year and has more than $7 billion in aggregate originations.

Daum will join a panel discussion with other powersports industry leaders on Tuesday, Sept. 23, at 2:15 p.m. ET on “Rethinking powersports financing processes, procedures and strategies in a digital age.”
