As vice president of risk management at Consumer Portfolio Services (CPS), DeJarnette helps create and implement risk strategies with market growth, profitability and credit risk in mind, according to his LinkedIn profile.

DeJarnette has been with CPS for more than 10 years in roles across reporting, risk management and analytics.

Irvine, Calif.-based CPS’ originations rose 51.7% year over year to $457.8 million in the fourth quarter of 2024, according to the company’s Feb. 25 earnings release.

Along with other executives, DeJarnette will discuss:

  • How to drive growth by using alternative data to more accurately predict risk in underwriting;
  • Tapping data to estimate the true costs of car ownership; and
  • Automating steps such as income validation to enhance originations.

Auto Finance Summit East provides participants with an opportunity to learn key industry trends to inform strategies for the rest of the year. Attendees will enjoy fireside chats, interactive workshops, networking opportunities and panel discussions on digital strategies, dealer and lender relations, auto refinance and funding strategies.
