Haig Partners’ Derek Garber to present at Powersports Finance Summit

Haig Partners Vice President Derek Garber will lead a presentation on dealer consolidation and the future of powersports finance at the Powersports Finance Summit, which will take place at the Bellagio in Las Vegas on Oct. 30-31. 

Garber will discuss which powersports dealers are consolidating, dealership valuations and transaction financing, and how dealers and lenders can navigate the post-transaction transition on Oct. 31 at 11:45 a.m. local time. 

Dealership mergers and acquisition activity has picked up following the pandemic. Recreational vehicle dealership consolidation set a record in June.  

Garber has served as VP at Haig since January. Prior to that, he was an investment banking associate at Haig for three years and was an audit associate at Deloitte

Haig Partners is an industrywide adviser for automotive dealership buyers and sellers. The company has assisted with more than 260 transactions valued at a combined $9 billion, according to its website. 

The Powersports Finance Summit includes presentations, panels and a workshop on relevant topics and interests, such as opportunities in electric vehicle financing and best practices in risk management, as well as networking opportunities and a chance to learn about the current and future state of the powersports finance industry.
