Chrysler Sales Continue to Soar in June

Chrysler Group LLCpeak continues its upward climb as sales of its brands rose for the 51st consecutive month, resulting in the automaker’s best June since 2007. Overall U.S. sales were up 9% in June, with Jeep, Dodge, Ram Truck, and Fiat brands each posting year-over-year sales gains in June compared with the same month a year ago. Jeep sales were up 28%, the brand’s best-ever sales in the month of June, while the Ram Truck saw its best June sales figures in 10 years, according to a press release from Chrysler. Fiat brand sales were also up by 11% in June, and the Fiat 500 Cabrio Abarth saw a 130% year-over-year increase, recording the largest percentage sales gain of any Fiat 500 model in June.
