Hyundai Motor Finance and Kia Motors Finance say that they are the first auto finance companies to provide free Fico scores to customers as part of the FICO Score Open Access Program. A spokeswoman from Hyundai told Auto Finance News that the program is currently only available to customers enrolling in the new 2014 “College Grad” programs offered by the two companies.
Customers participating in the programs will get their Fico Scores from HMF and KMF on a quarterly basis starting in the fall. Although the Fico program is currently only available to the college grad program participants, but both companies plan to offer it to all other customers as soon as possible. “The score will be delivered through direct mail first. We will make it available online later,” the spokeswoman said.
